KHS 2-Way Elastic Breast Girth

Remember where you saw this first! Designed by Master Saddler Kate Hardt, made from the best quality English leather, with high strength thread and solid stainless steel fittings. Lovingly crafted by hand using the finest traditional methods. The 2-Way Elastic Breast Girth can be used in two ways:

- clipped to the D-rings of your saddle

- as a martingale on the days when speed is key while tacking up (just add the central padded leather wither pad in between the clips)

For added convenience, the breast girth also comes with our own martingale attachement clip (also available separately) for use with girths that have a central D-ring. This can of course be removed for use on girths that do not have a D-ring. The central body of the breast girth is padded and has the blue KHS stud on the removable running martingale attachment. So all in all this nifty breast girth is utterly flexible to your needs! These are currently only available in full size, black or havana. And they come with free UK mainland postage, of course!

Girths are measured from buckle end to buckle end. Measure the girth you use now, and if it fits well, order the same length. Stirrup leathers are measured from the buckle to the end.

Wipe off mud and sweat with a damp cloth, let it dry naturally away from heat, then feed with a good leather balsam. Kate uses and stocks Jeffries leathercare. Leather looked after this way lasts for decades.
