  1. Have a chat

Tell Kate the idea. Photos of what you like help.

  2. Measure up

She'll show you what to measure, or measure in person at the shop.

  3. Choose leather and fittings

Colours, stitching, brass or steel. She sends photos of options.

  4. Made by hand

Cut, stitched, edged and finished on Kate's bench.

Commissions that meant something

The stories behind the stitches.

A restored rocking horse wearing new hand-made tack

The rocking horse

A client wanted her late mother's saddle adapted for a restored rocking horse. Kate sourced miniature buckles, a bit and stirrups, and made the bridle to measure.

A matching hand-stitched collar and lead

A collar to remember

After a much-loved dog passed away, Kate turned his collar into two friendship bracelets and a key ring for the family.

A crystal browband against a green field

Twenty inches of sparkle

Big horses struggle to find tack that fits. Every browband is made to order, so when a client with a very big horse asked, Kate simply made one 20 inches long.
